According to Complex, Shai, a player for the Oklahoma City Thunder, has been recognized for his sense of style. Popularized through his game fits posted on Instagram, people admired how he styles pieces of streetwear that are hard for some to do. Jordan Clarkson, a player of the Utah Jazz, is known for creating outfits that are different from his NBA counterparts. He’s always rocking a hockey jersey or cargo pants. He earned the title of the best-dressed in the NBA. Stefon Diggs, a player of the Houston Texans, is known for not being afraid to take a risk with his fast choices.  What makes him a great influence in streetwear in sports is that he cares about his style. His style is a way for him to express himself, which aligns with the message of streetwear. Natasha Cloud, player of the Phoenix Mercury, is praised for pairing the right things when it comes to her fashion. It is also important to look at the pioneers of streetwear in sports. Michael Jordan, the famous Chicago Bulls player, has a huge influence on the sneaker community with his Air Jordans. After many years, Air Jordans are still shoes that a bunch of Gen Z collect daily. Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion in Formula 1, has changed the fashion norms in Formula 1.
